iPOS SQL/Connect Setup Requirements

FIREWALL SETTINGS

You will need bi-directional access on port 443 for https://data.myposinfo.com


For product updates will need access access on port 443 to https://www.incontrolpos.com


To install iPOS SQL, you will need to be logged in as the administrator.

Before installing, make sure you have all of the Windows updates

INCLUDING ALL OPTIONAL UPDATES RELATED TO WINDOWS AND THE .NET FRAMEWORK -- THIS MAY REQUIRE A REBOOT OF THE PC..


***************** NOTE ********************

After the install if you have any problems, verify the following

1. The BOH PC is either running Windows 7,  8 , 10 (this app will not run on XP)

2. You have an exclusion on the c:\program files\ipossql (or c:\program files(x86) ) folder in your antivirus

3. You have ALL the Windows updates

4. You have your firewall open for bidirectional access to https://data.myposinfo.com and https://www.incontrolpos.com for port 443

5. Right mouse click on the iPOS SQL icon and Run as Administrator
