If you are missing any days it could be for the following reasons:
- You lost your internet connection at some point around the 6;00 am time frame on your POS data server. This is when iPOS Connect uploads your data to our server.
- Your POS data server was down around the 6:00 am time frame.
- Your firewall is blocking access to our server.
- Your antivirus definitions have quarantined key files for iPOS Connect.
- On the POS data server, launch iPOS Connect. Make sure there are no errors and that our service is running (displays this info on the main form).
- Hit the Upload My Data now button and verify that the data is uploading to our server (no error messages)
In addition, you need to have an exclusion in your antivirus so that it does not intefere with our application. You can exclude the entire iPOS Connect program files folder, or exlude all the DLL's and exe's in that folder. The location is:
c:\program files\ipossql
on 64 bit systems
c:\program files(x86)\ipossql
For the auto uploader to work, our iPOSSQL service must be running on the POS server where iPOS Connect is installed. Right mouse click the Windows Start button, then go to computer management > services and applications > services. Screen shot below for reference. Note that the service in our example is NOT running, therefore iPOS Connect will NOT auto upload until you start this service.
