iPOS Connect General Issues
If you are having any problems with iPOS Connect, verify the following:
- The BOH PC is either running Windows 7,8, 10
- You have an exclusion on the c:\program files\ipossql (or c:\program files(x86) ) folder in your antivirus
- Make sure you have all of the Windows updates INCLUDING ALL OPTIONAL UPDATES RELATED TO WINDOWS AND THE .NET FRAMEWORK -- THIS MAY REQUIRE A REBOOT OF THE PC.
- You have your firewall open for bidirectional access to https://data.myposinfo.com on port 1433 and access for https://incontrolpos.com (for app updates)
- Right mouse click on the iPOS SQL icon and Run as Administrator
- If your antivirus has deleted key files in our app, you may need to reinstall iPOS Connect. Download and install from https://www.incontrolpos.com/downloads/iposconnectsetup.zip
