What files do I need when replacing iPOS GL on a new QuickBooks PC

When installing iPOS GL on a new PC, do the following:
  1. On the old PC, copy all the files from C:\Users\Public\Documents\iPOSGL.Positouch to a flash drive or Dropbox or someplace you can retrieve them from the new PC.
  2. On the new Quick Books PC, download and install iPOS GL for POSitouch. After you install, get the latest version (Help > Check for updates)
  3. Copy over all the files from your flash drive or Dropbox etc from step 1, to the same location on the new QB PC
  4. Ensure that the POSitouch DBF files (like the JOURNAL.DBF), is in the same location on the new PC as the old one. You can change this setting if needed in Setup > General setup
  5. Launch iPOS GL and then establish your connection to QB by to doing the following:
    1. Open up your Quick Books company file
    2. Launch iPOS GL and from the top menu bar go to: Setup > map accounts
    3. Hit the button to read from Quick Books. If Quick Books prompts you to allow access, select when ever the Quick Books Company file is open
