iPOS GL Aloha to QuickBooks has stopped working

If the iPOS GL app has stopped working, make sure the following has been done:


  1. Make sure you have ALL of your Windows updates, including any Optional updates that refer to the .NET Framework
  2. You have a full exclusion on the c:\Program Files\iPOSGL.Aloha (or for 64 bit systems, its C:\Program Files(x86)\iPOSGL.Aloha) folder in your antivirus.
  3. If your antivirus deleted any files from iPOS GL, you will need to reinstall iPOS GL. Use the links below to download and reinstall (note, you do not need to uninstall anything)

    2. Multi Store: https://www.incontrolpos.com/downloads/Aloha/iPOSGLAlohaQBMultiV2.1.zip
  4. After you reinstall, make sure you get the latest version under Help > Check for updates
  5. Make sure you have your firewall opened for:
