Connecting iPOS GL to QuickBooks

To connect iPOS GL to QuickBooks:


  1. Log in to QuickBooks as the QuickBooks administrator
  2. Open your company file
  3. Make sure QuickBooks is in single user mode
  4. Launch iPOS GL
  5. Under Setup go to Map Accounts
  6. If you are a multi store users, select a store
  7. Hit the Read From QuickBooks button.
  8. You may get prompted from QuickBooks to allow the connection, if so, select the option to use when the QuickBooks company file is open.
  9. If you still can't connect, try the following:
    1. Reboot your QB PC
    2. Make sure you have a full folder exclusion in your antivirus for iPOS GL folder in your program files folder
    3. Right mouse click your QuickBooks icon and Run As Administrator (do these even if you're logged into windows as an Admin)
    4. Log into QuickBooks as the QuickBooks admin
    5. Set Quickbooks to be in single user mode
    6. If you have previously connected to QB, remove our app from the list in the Preferences section, under Integrated Apps. Remove it and hit OK.
    7. Right mouse click your iPOS icon and Run As Administrator (do these even if you're logged into windows as an Admin)
    8. Under Setup go to Map Accounts
    9. If you are a multi store users, select a store
    10. Click the Read from QuickBooks button.
    11. You may get prompted from QuickBooks to allow the connection, if so, select the option to use when the QuickBooks company file is open.
